Puff pastry braid and nut cream
Puff pastry braid with nut cream is a delight that combines the lightness and crunchiness of puff pastry with the creaminess and intense flavour of nuts. This recipe is not only visually appealing, but is also a pleasure for the palate, perfect for any special occasion or simply to enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea.
1 sheet of puff pastry
250 gr of hazelnuts
200 gr almonds
1 bar of chocolate
Oil to paint the puff pastry
Icing sugar for decorating
STEPS:
1. Spread the hazelnuts and almonds on the grill and bake until golden brown.
2. In a food processor, add the nuts (reserve a few for decoration) and turn it on at maximum power. Keep stirring until you have a smooth, creamy texture.
3. We spread the puff pastry and prick it with a fork and place the tablet on top in the center, add the nut cream on top and make diagonal cuts (As you see in the video)
4. We close it in the shape of a braid, paint it with oil and add some pieces of hazelnuts and almonds that we have reserved.
5. Bake according to the instructions on your puff pastry.
6. Sprinkle with icing sugar and enjoy!
