Chicken Cacciatore
This chicken recipe comes directly from Tuscany, one of the most dreamed regions of Italy with a very rich gastronomy.
The chicken is cut into pieces and browned in the Titanium frying pan and then the different ingredients are added to turn this chicken into a tasty and very colorful dish.
Ingredients
700 g of chicken in pieces
300 g of peeled and crushed tomatoes
1 onion
1 clove garlic
1 carrot
1 stick of celery
half glass of wine
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
a handful of black olives
1 sprig of rosemary
1 sprig of chopped parsley
Salt to taste
black pepper to taste
Preparation
Chop all the vegetables separately and reserve.
In a Titanium pan, heat a drop of oil. When the Titanium pan is hot, add the chicken skin side down.
Let them brown for about 5 minutes, and then turn them over, letting them brown for another 5 minutes on the other side.
Now add the celery, carrot and onion and then the clove of garlic, season with salt and pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the red wine and the sprig of rosemary and bring to a boil. Remove the rosemary, and add the crushed tomato and the handful of black olives.
Let cook semi-covered for about 15 minutes until all the water in the tomatoes evaporates and a thick sauce remains. Serve with a little salad.
