Lentils in the garden

There are still cold days left and for them nothing like legumes. And of course we can stew them with chorizo and black pudding, but today we are going to show that only with vegetables they are also a finger-licking dish.

If we use the Excellent pressure cooker on top, then they take on another dimension because in just half an hour we have a delicious dish to eat.

Ingredients

1 onion

2 cloves of garlic

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 green bell pepper

1 red bell pepper

1 carrot

Salt, a bay leaf

A few grains of black pepper

1 teaspoon sweet paprika

500 g pardiñas lentils (the smallest ones)

750 ml of vegetable broth

1 little fresh parsley

Preparation

In the pressure cooker, sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic over low heat with a little olive oil.

When the onion is soft, add the chopped red and green pepper and sauté for a couple of minutes. We do the same with the carrot.

Once we have the vegetables ready, add a bay leaf, sweet paprika, pepper and a little salt. Add the lentils and cover with vegetable broth. and close the Excellent pressure cooker .

Let cook 8-10 minutes from when it starts to whistle.

Serve with some chopped fresh parsley.
