Spaghetti with mozzarella sauce and basil
Nothing like a good plate of pasta to turn your day, whatever it may be, into a Sunday, and this sauce, in addition to being delicious, is prepared in 5 minutes and carries all the flavor of Italy in it.
Ingredients
500 g spaghetti or your favorite pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 sprig of thyme
250 g cherry tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 fresh burrata
Salt to taste
1 bunch of fresh basil
Preparation
We cut the Cherry tomatoes in half.
To prepare the pasta, in a low Advance saucepan, heat the oil and sauté the garlic and tomatoes with a sprig of thyme until the tomatoes are well cooked and have released all their juice.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a tall Advance saucepan in plenty of hot water with a pinch of salt. When the pasta is al dente, strain it, saving a little of the cooking water.
In a container we put the tomatoes, the burrata and the bunch of fresh basil. We grind well until we have a fine paste.
In the same low saucepan we put the sauce, add the pasta and a ladle of the cooking water. We move well and let it warm up. We finish with a little more chopped fresh basil and that's it!
