Curry and cheese stuffed bread

One of my favorite recipes because it doesn’t require kneading or rising, and it’s prepared easily and quickly with no hassle.
Ingredients for the bread:
- 200 g of flour
- 3.5 g of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 100 ml of water
- 15 g of olive oil
- 8 g of honey
For the rice:
- 1 cup of basmati rice
- 1 cup of water
- 1 pinch of salt
For the meat:
- 500 g of ground meat
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp of curry powder
- 1/4 tsp of chili powder or Tabasco
- 1/4 tsp of freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tbsp of fried tomato sauce
For the rolls:
- 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil or butter for frying the rolls
- Melted butter for brushing them
- Chopped cilantro
Preparation:
- For the bread, put flour, salt, honey, butter, and water in a bowl. Mix with your hands until you get a homogeneous dough. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- For the meat, sauté the garlic and onion, and when it’s soft, add the chopped bell pepper. Cook for a few minutes, then add the meat and spices. Stir a few times, then add the fried tomato sauce. Adjust salt if needed and set aside.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions of about 100 g each, and form balls with each one.
- Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to form a circle. Place a slice of cheese on half the circle, and cover with ground meat. Cover again with cheese.
- Lightly moisten the edges with water and fold the dough, pressing the edges firmly to form a kind of empanada. Set aside on a sheet of baking paper.
- Heat a pan with a little butter. Fry the rolls over medium heat until they’re golden brown and fully cooked on both sides. Brush with melted butter.
- Serve with a little rice and avocado
