Nectarine Clafoutis
The clafoutis is a cake that normally incorporates cherries but to which any tree fruit can be added, today we will make a clafoutis of nectarines also using the BRA low pan Efficient as a mould, perfect for its non-stick properties. It is a delicious dessert and very easy to prepare: you just have to mix the ingredients and add our favorite fruit.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of butter to grease the Bra Efficient pan
- 1 tablespoon of sugar to sprinkle on the greased saucepan
- 4 ripe nectarines
- 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 120g sugar
- ½ teaspoon hazelnut extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 200 ml of liquid cream
- 175 ml of milk
- 100g of flour
- A pinch of salt
- icing sugar for dusting
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175ºC
- Grease the low saucepan and lightly sprinkle the granulated sugar. Reserve.
- Cut the nectarines into quarters, leaving one half whole. In a medium bowl, mix the chopped nectarines with the vanilla sugar and lemon juice. Reserve.
- In a bowl mix the sugar, the hazelnut extract, the vanilla extract, the eggs, the liquid cream, the milk, the flour and the salt and mix well until obtaining a uniform mixture (it can be done by hand or with an electric mixer) .
- Place the nectarines on the saucepan leaving the halved nectarine for the center of the saucepan.
- Using a ladle, pour the milk and egg mixture over the saucepan. Bake for about 30 minutes. After this time, raise the temperature to 180ºC and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Serve warm sprinkled with icing sugar.
