Vanilla Caramel Pudding
Father's Day is coming up and this dessert is perfect to celebrate all day long.
And it is that the same is going to serve you for breakfast, as for dessert at lunch or dinner, or as a snack.
It is a dessert in addition to use in which we can use the remains of pastries or bread from days gone by that in this recipe come to life again and in what way!
Ingredients
for the pudding
350 g of bread from the day before, brioche, milk, sliced bread or rest of croissants or buns
500 ml of milk
6 eggs
80g brown sugar
1 tablespoon of rum
2 apples
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
For the caramel sauce
200 ml of hot cream
180g brown sugar
80g of butter
Preparation
Cut the bread into equal pieces.
In a bowl, mix the eggs, the sugar (setting aside a tablespoon), the milk and the rum. Pour over the pieces of bread and reserve.
Grease a Bra Signature saucepan with butter. We put the spoonful of sugar that we had reserved and the chopped apples without skin.
Cover with the bread and egg mixture.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until the mixture has curdled.
Meanwhile, in a Bra Signature saucepan , add the sugar to caramelize.
When it is golden in color, carefully add the hot cream and let it thicken. When it starts to boil, remove from the heat and carefully add the butter in pieces. We serve the warm pudding with the hot caramel sauce.
