Mushroom toast with duck ham and egg, video recipe
Almost all of us have eaten mushrooms on a slice of bread as an appetizer. Today we wanted to go a step further by preparing a more forceful dish. A good artisan bread, delicious duck ham and poached egg are the perfect combination.
- 1 spring onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 400 gr of mixed mushrooms
- 1 slice of bread
- 5-7 slices of duck ham
- 1 fresh egg
Chop the onion. Peel and chop the garlics. Sauté in the pan until they start to become transparent.
- Add the mixed mushrooms and leave over medium heat for 10 minutes until they poach.
- Meanwhile, heat water in a saucepan until it is about to boil without reaching the bubbles are very sudden. When it is ready, with a paddle, make a spiral in the water and add the cracked egg. With the spiral we will help the white to surround the yolk to get a rounder egg.
- Once we have the mushrooms and the egg ready, we toast the bread and begin to assemble our toast. We serve the mushrooms in the slice, crowned with a few slices of duck ham and the poached egg. A pinch of pepper and you're done.
