vegetable wok
This rice wok recipe is one of the easiest you can find. You just need a good skillet like the Efficient Deep Skillet and whatever ingredients you have in the fridge because you can basically substitute these for your favorite veggies. You can even add chicken or beef if you prefer.
A little soy sauce will do the rest in this delicious and healthy dish.
Ingredients:
250g long rice
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 zucchini
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 cloves of garlic
1 fresh onion
1 handful of fresh coriander
1 red chili
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of toasted sesame to decorate
Rinse the rice well until the water runs clear. This will cause the rice to lose excess starch and become loose.
Cook it normally and rinse it very well.
Put a little oil in a deep Efficient frying pan. Sauté the onion together with the minced garlic.
Cut the peppers and zucchini into strips and chop the mushrooms. Add to the wok and sauté for a few minutes.
Now add the rice and sauces and sauté until the rice is hot. Add the chopped chili and sesame on top. Serve very hot.
